    Passport renew query

So basically my passport has expired and I've booked appointment on 20th January. So the problem is that I'm having all the original documents but my PAN card is adolescent one(without photo) and I've applied for updated one but haven't received till now. I'm having other original documents like Aadhar, voter Id for proof. So will it pose any problem for the renewal process?? Because I need to visit another country for some work but delayed due to this case.

I (20M) am tall and lean so its almost impossible to find pants that fit me both lengthwise and at the waist. I already have baggy jeans and cargo pants in my wardrobe but i wanted to get myself some trousers or idk something new basically. Since im a student my pocket isnt too big, does anyone have any shop/location recommendations? I dont mind thrifting i just have 0 clue about where i should look. Need a Gynaecologist

Hey everyone, I’m a 20F. Does anyone have the contact of a good gynecologist? I’m a student, so I’d prefer someone who is experienced but also affordable. Please let me know, it’s very very urgent! I live in Marine Lines so hoping somebody near by but if the price is cheaper I can travel as well!

    Good ergonomic chairs in Mumbai

I want to buy an ergonomic chair with good back support for my WFH setup. Everyone I ask suggests me to go to a store and try. But apparently most of the stores don't keep chairs in display. I have been to showrooms of sellers like Sleepwell, Pepperfry, Wakefit, Godrej interio... None of them had any chairs on display. Wakefit had one random chair. That's it. I also visited local shops as well. Most of them don't sell the ergonomic chairs with back support. And those who did, didn't...

The sorry state of Powai lake

I recently moved to Powai and decided to take a morning walk along the promenade by Powai Lake. I was shocked by what I saw—garbage everywhere and Ghutka stains all over the place. I walked the entire promenade hoping to find a cleaner section, but no luck. I had to leave quickly as the stench became unbearable. It’s easy to get defensive when foreigners comment on how dirty our cities are, but maybe it's time to hold city officials accountable instead of brushing it off. A rich city like...

For a costal city like Mumbai having aqi above 250 consistently is a big achievement

Imagine having sea, winds still aqi over 250. If Mumbai would have been a land locked city like Delhi its aqi would have easily reached 500. This is the worst aqi for any coastal city in the world. Imagine paying taxes to breathe air like this.

The Psychology of “Gulami”: A Tale of Language Bias in Hotel

A few days ago, I had two contrasting experiences at two hotels—Ramada and Marriott. The difference between them wasn’t just about the service, but something deeper: the role of language and how it shapes perceptions. At the Ramada, I needed a small favor—not something unreasonable, but something that required a bit of flexibility from the staff. I approached the receptionist and explained my request politely, speaking in Hindi. Their response was immediate and rigid: “Sorry, sir, yeh possible nahi hai.” There was no effort to listen, no attempt to...
