Budget friendly places In the western suburbs

Hey Mumbaikars! I'm looking for recommendations for places in the western suburbs that have a similar vibe to Bottles & Therapy in Andheri – you know, cozy, intimate, maybe a bit dimly lit, with music and a relaxed atmosphere. But the main condition is the budget. Thank You!

In a sub that cribs about the lack of civic sense in India, why is this sub so okay with public smokers

There was a post made by a guy who was fined for public smoking by a cop. The cop taking his cut was a shitty thing to do; But imagine if the guy was caught by a cop for spitting gutkha or peeing in the public. Nobody would've supported the guy in that case.

    My mom got sexually assaulted

I don’t know where to start. This morning, at 6:50 AM, the garbage collector came to our door, and when my mom opened it, he flashed her. My mom, thank God, is a strong woman, she screamed at him, “Ruk, tujhe batati hu!” and grabbed a chappal, but he ran away. We immediately went to the police station, hoping for support. But to my heartbreak, not a single neighbor came to help. Most of them turned their backs on us, too busy with their own lives to care. I...

Sab sadake khod daali hai yaar!

What the heck is wrong with Mumbai? The entire western suburban Mumbai has been dig up it seems and its taking like forever to get any project done here. There is no footpath and does anybody know of the highest level of abuse for these bikers who think k footpath unke baap ka hai and they ride over it mindlessly? There is literally no place for pedestrians to walk upon. The condition is so pathetic here that even morning walks have become difficult due to the construction dust. I...

During my travels, I met my batchmate, let’s call her R. Our first trip together was amazing—we vibed so well, and I really enjoyed R’s company. So, we decided to plan our further trips together. R is a kind and genuine person. During our last trip, she mentioned that she has a boyfriend in Mumbai (our college is...

Has the quality and reliability of Mumbai Local drastically deteriorated in the past couple of years?

I'm surprised I haven't seen more people talking about this. Now Locals were hardly ever something you looked forward to. Unless you were too lost in the sauce of the proverbial sprite. But I don't remember it being this bad. Two or three years ago, trains could be expected to run on time (at least on Bombay Time™ — which is a few mins late) but you'd reasonably get one every 4-5 mins, and a ten minute delay was seen as unusual. Nowadays, delays are the norm, not the...

I have OCD and my friends have come over to stay

22M here and I live in a flat with a flatmate with me occupying the bedroom and him occupying the hall. My two friends have come over from Delhi and and wanted to stay for 7-10 days. Now I have really bad OCD and both are very unhygienic and only follow hygiene when asked to. My floor as well is also usually dirty and they roam around without slippers. This is all affecting my mental health and also causing me to waste time at washing bedsheets and sanitizing everything....

    Surge In Gutka Stains

I've seen a sudden rise in gutka stains. Like a lot. Not only in public spaces but the other day a drunk man spat gutka on the back of a woman. No window on a Mumbai local is free of it.

Mumbai Police serving justice! In less than 24 hours, culprits caught in my Amazon delivery scam

So, here's the probably the final update I'm gonna add for scam, until and unless Amazon does some more skullduggery. In less than 24 hours after contacting Senior Police Inspector of Bangur Nagar Station, Mumbai, Mr. Anil Thakre, he wholeheartedly cooperated with me, and Assistant Police Inspector from Cybercell, Mr. Vivek Vijay Tambe, got on the case, took my statement and assured me that they'll be caught. And guess what, before it was afternoon the next day, they had nabbed culprits, and then before the evening, they had confessions...

I really want to be brave but I can't idk I am very stuck in this.

Firstly please excuse my english it's very weak. I am a very coward person, idk how much I try that whenever I will have a next conversation with someone I am the less powerful one in that conversation always. For example if a Swiggy delivery boy come then I am even scared to asked him if he has change. My voice is not very deep, and othe other person voices are always deeper than me. This makes sense because I've experienced one have deeper voice amongst my friend are...
