Most people preparing for government jobs are middle class they grew up in homes where most of their parents had a govt job, bihar isn't a hub for well paying private jobs.
Also lack of exposure , skills, educational institutes in bihar.
Culturally in bihar government jobs can be used as a social capital to gain respect and power in society. 
Some people are too pridefull to start from lower earning jobs and eventually move forward.

I used to be in a similar case during 2024, I had to travel 30kms (one way) during peak hours (school time) it was horrific, no matter how early I leave always reaching late to work. I tried requesting for WFH/Hybrid setup, the company disagreed. Changed my job and chilling in WFH now.

I thought it would be a fun and entertaining show but all they are doing is gaining viewership through boring and fake melodrama like any other reality show. I hope it's a huge flop.
