Stay away from UP and Bihar unless the family has moved out of those states for a generation or two. Even then it can be tricky. Most guys from those states won't consider women as their equals (I mean in their talk they will say all are equal, but actions will speak differently). The few progressive ones will be bogged down by their families. And the trouble is they will think they are very progressive (esp the upper caste educated ones).

Being in an inter cultural relationship works provided both the parties respect each other's culture and are willing to equally participate in ach other's cultural festivites. Since, the guy is from Bihar, there's a good chance that he celebrates 'Chaath Puja ', it's a big deal and a big festival and if takes some good amount of effort for someone who's not from the Bihari culture to understand it but yeah as said with equal willingness and equal efforts from both ends, it can be done. Then, there come the inter caste thing, provided that the person in question is from Bihar, there's a really good chance that he will have an inter caste problem, today or tomorrow that probelm will come in the relationship if you guys are from diffence castes, if not then all good, but yeah, if you two are from different caste, then most probably, there will be issues with regards to caste as caste is a big factor specially in Bihar. But yeah, as said, equal efforts and equal willingness to be together will make things work out between you two. I will advise you two to completely discuss each other's culture, the expectations you two will will have from each other with regards to the others participation in one another's culture, both sets of family's expectations as far as cultural participation is concerned, the inter caste angle, and many other things before proceeding forward. An honest open and in detail discussion on all grounds will make it clear to you two that whether you two should proceed forward or not. All the very best.

If you don't like to go in high RPMs, then ktm was a wrong choice. Look for a bike which has max Torque at lower RPM.

If you don't like cruisers, Check out cb300f, it's a naked bike with max Torque of 25Nm@5500rpm, whereas duke250 is 25Nm@7500rpm
