Seems nice on paper. But a lot of problems at hand here. 
1. If something is modular, it's hard to make it water resistant and small in form factor.
2. It needs to accommodate so much hardware support for the components, optimization is difficult.
Even after these might be addressed, people still prefer sleek looking thin phones.

As much as I agree with the other views, I also feel we can have a more positive outlook, and understand the reasons behind the decisions.

I feel that one of the reasons is that India is a democratic country.

So, as much as we praise china for its economic growth ( rightfully), the citizens do not have that much freedom. They have a one party nation so it's easier for them to implement rules without any opposition. It's good for implementation but bad for the citizens.

Like China expelled many government officials and forced people to go out and work in the 90s and god help those who are disabled. We can never imagine such a thing in India. Opposition will win in the next election season.

I don't think anybody even remembers these characters but in The Buddy Project (Season 2, in college) they introduced three new characters - Avi, Omi and Rukmini as potential partners of Panchi and Ranveer. Gosh, all three were so annoying that even the makers slowly phased all three out within a few months and finally got Ranveer-Panchi together. While I agree that makers would want to add new characters to run a story but atleast they need to be good so that people get hooked on them! Only good thing is that I was more invested in KD-Kiya so last time I watched the series on Hotstar I just skipped over their parts. 🫣
