Ok so if marriage is so important as what everyone has pointed out, why do marriages break? Why do untimely deaths happen, leaving the other person a widow? Why do spouses turn out to be bad sometimes? Why is there no certainty of finding a spouse and why has God given such a big task of finding our spouses ourselves from the millions of people that He has created, and who we may have chances of not meeting at all.

If marriage is so important in God’s eyes he would be already telling us in advance about the whereabouts of our future spouse, like how Parvati knew Shiva would be her husband.

I feel Kalyug is more about paying one’s karma than it’s about dharma, otherwise you would not be seeing so many beautiful souls suffering especially in the area of marriage.
