So when the shoot of It Ends with us (based on a book) started, Balke was criticised for the costume and internet, especially the people who read the book were against it as 'she didn't look the part' with her age and the overall look of the character.

Then when the promotions of the film started, people claimed Blake to be tone deaf about the messaging, i.e. domestic violence. On all promotional interviews she talked about how it was a lighthearted, rom com who girls should watch with their girl gangs, wearing their floral print dresses. She also talked about Ryan's Deadpool V/S Wolverine, their business ventures, anything but the domestic violence theme and how the FL was a victim and it was not actually a serious film touching dark themes.

This tone deaf attitude of her got backlash on the internet and hampered Blake and Ryan's IT couple image. People talked about how she was a mean girl, how she tried to hijack the direction and story of the film and dominating mostly. People also talked about how Justine, the lead actor and director of the film had a hard time with her involvement but was patient and gentlemen with her. He also openly addressed the themes and intricacies of toxicity that the film had so people were on applaud of him.

But, but few days back New York times released an article with headline 'Blake Lively sues Justin Baldony' that showed with proofs (what's app chat mostly) of how Justin sexually harassed Blake on the sets, like kissing her way too long and entering her vanity when she was breastfeeding. He and one of the producers also made sexual remarks on crews or other people around and talked about what happened in their bedroom.

This made Blake uncomfortable, she called Sony (the studio) and intimacy co- ordinator was appointed on the sets. Also they claimed that Sony had it in contract that the domestic violence perspective was not to be discussed in the promotional interviews, stating Blake was being professional and not tone deaf. Also chats between a renowned PR and Justin's manager (I suppose, don't actually remember) were leaked where they used the online backlash against Lively and fueled it to tarnish her image. This PR was the one who worked for Jonny Depp in the Depp V/S Heard case.

The PR lady talked about how Justin was wrong, they were targeting women, how the internet lobes hating women naturally and this made their vendetta easy. She even talked about how Justin will be in ruins if his true colors would come out. And how Blake had taken matters in hand and sued him for the same.

This was claimed as an online, planned vendetta against Blake by Justin and something new that can be dangerous to others in future by NY times.

The world was taken by grasp and Tick tok and Instagram influencers started to milk this by taking sides .

But now, Justin has sued Blake and NY times both for a hefty amount for tarnishing his image. He even produced the receipts and proofs for the same showing how the screenshots of whatsapp chats were forged and also showed the actual chats.

He said the intimacy co- ordinator was on sets but Blake ignored her from the start, he also said he visited her trailer to discuss some scene which she invited him for, and Blake happened to be breastfeeding. He also claims the picture of women's genitals were shown for some birth scene and apparently has proof for the same. And he claims that it is not him but Blake who is using the internet against him

Haven't actually read it in detail at this point as this drama is getting out of hand and making me roll my eyes but now the situation is he said, she said (but with proofs). The internet is divided and so are people. However this has ruined It Ends With Us audience as the drama didn't end with them filming the movie but is getting dirtier each day.
