I feel you, OP. I've had a few such encounters.

The first incident was when I was in 10th class, 2008. We were on a train travelling to Pachmarhi, a school trip. A few of the hijras were troubling us. Memu pillalu, we barely get any pocket money ani chepam. They grabbed one of our friend's d*ck and said "ye to bacche jaisa nhi hai" - "this doesn't feel like a kid's". Since we were a group of 20-25 students, we abused them verbally and made them leave us alone. They managed to extort some money from our teachers (escorting us). 🤣

The second was in Hyderabad. I was attending a gruhapravesam (housewarming). Some 15-20 folks stood in front of the house and demanded INR 2 Lakhs. My cousin was adamant, she wasn't willing to budge. Oka 2-3 hours chaos. We called a police station near Srinagar Colony. They suggested we settle this ourselves. We ended up paying INR 20K. 🥲

My most recent encounter was in Gurgaon. They wanted money because I rented a brand new house. 😅 I told them I'm a tenant and they should call the owner.
