Everybody commenting about how doctors go through hell, nobody, specifically the OP isn't discounting their efforts. I think everybody in society respects them for it. Everyone goes through hell to get to a good position in life - CAs, software engineers, businessman, even bus drivers do. Everyone's struggle is different, just because someone's struggle is more apparent and visible, doesn't give them the right to treat others like shit, especially when it comes to someone's health and the anxiety that comes along with it.

Besides, don't they like charge a good amount of money to recoup for the struggle they've been through? OP is talking about paying a doctor and having questions answered, I think it's a fair deal and everyone deserves answer. Doctors in other countries seem to be much friendlier and understanding of their patients. Hell, it's tougher to become a doctor in the states and they still respect their patients.
