    Unless u are ready for a longish legal battle, nothing else can be done, IMHO. But for future reference books using the airline portal, most allow one free change within 2 hours to 24 hours depending on the airline due to this very problem.

    I am telling this as I had faced a similar situation last year and Air India (and Indigo for my friend before my error), allowed us to rectify the same.
