Really feel sorry for bumrah, siraj, reddy and sundar who brought back India in game from nowhere and batsmen couldn’t even bat for one day on flattest 5th day pitch we have seen in long time.

Actually its the opposite, I grew up in NE and the govt(the central govt) makes a lot of effort to build infra in far flung areas with very less population too, the investments made are just mind boggling.

Lets compare say Idukki district in Kerala which is a hilly region with about 11 lakh population , just comparable to a small NE state. The district has no railway station, no airport and the national highways were shite not too long back, and not even one large central government institutes or psu but if you look now almost all NE states have a railway station, an airport , couple of good central government institutes and even some states have PSUs for that matter.

If this is the situation in Kerala think of rural areas in Bihar(i have visited a rural area and smaller towns) , UP, MP(saw rural areas and my heart cried), Jharkhand, Chattisgarg etc ..the quality of life is eye watering compared to whats in NE. I have been to smaller villages in Arunachal and meghalaya and the quality of life was very good. In the small town/village of Walong in Arunachal Pradesh I could even find a proper indoor badminton court and a restaurant with good music and very good food/alcohol(there was even live music).

If you guys are able to get past tribal diff and get the state govt to also work then the place could like heaven , which Sikkim has managed to do and has become the no.1 state in India now for most things.
