My 2 cents: You need to include sources and data to support your statements. When you start with a statement that the new tax regime is taking the middle class backwards, you need to show data for it. There are many such statements you make that can be helped by presenting clear data or comparison using hypothetical inputs, like tax on X amount in the new vs old regime.

In absence of supporting literature and research the article seems like an opinion piece masquerading as facts.
