It is a very rare incident for a victim to voice out their issues and seek justice. We are a society who is prone to shaming and it takes a lot for a victim to speak up. They do it because they need justice and also because the same incident shouldn’t happen to another person. I mean, that is the least they can expect because the damage is already done. But indirectly, threatening victims by releasing their details is beyond horrendous. I just hope all these people end up in hell.

I call this the ***psychology of the peon***, as a play on Robert J. Lifton's concept of the ***psychology of the pawn***.

This psychology tends to conflate what is good for the alpha is good for the rest of the monkey troop. In this context, the alpha would "bribe" lower status betas to act as his enforcers or henchmen.
