Iv been in the markets for a couple of years, primarily focused on automation, took me a while to build a system that’s currently on a live account - once live it’s pretty hands off and found monotone ok my hands and decided to try out some discussions trading since Q4 last year.

I don’t regret looking into Brian Shannon for swing trading, after watching a few interviews on YouTube (while researching VWAP) I decided to pick up his books (first one based on technical analysts on multiple time frames, the second focused around the VWAP)

I joined his programme after reading his books, his trading style and methods matched for my trading style and mindset (no magic indicators or systematic system, just price action, logic and risk management) he posts 3 videos a day(end of market, mid day and ideas video) and is pretty active for questions. He won’t give you “buy here, sell here” kind of feedback but he will point out potential set ups, any he takes, he will update advise on stop loss etc.

I’m UK also based also, I don’t trade options, depending on the trade, I will either use a share dealing account or spread betting account - spread betting preferred due to tax implications but sizing doesn’t always work so fall back to share dealing.
