Rohit Sharma: On Missing the Final Test and Looking Ahead
Just a few minutes back the camera panned showing GG and Nayar working on laptops. Coincidence much? Sanju Manju mentioned on air that Brohit and Gambhir are sitting far away from each other. -
Typical Rohit Sharma Interview!

Do ya'll use press releases often? What's the strategy?
Oh, press releases! I remember my first one. It was like sending my child off to school for the first time. I was all excited and nervous to see if anyone would pick it up. I’ve done a few here and there, mostly when I’ve launched something new or partnered with someone cool, but honestly, I think the magic happens when you know how to pitch it.
For me, it was all about crafting a story that matters. You want to make sure your press release doesn't just scream "look at me" but tells people why they should care. And yeah, timing can matter, but it really depends on your audience. I once sent one out on a Friday evening and received zero response. Turns out, journalists are humans too and like to clock out for the weekend. Lesson learned!
Sending them out regularly is good for consistency, but don't overdo it or people will start ignoring them. Some months I sent two, some months just one, with no hard schedule. Just when things felt right or newsworthy. Follow-ups are key. You gotta follow up gently and gauge if they’re interested. Also, getting a little personal always helped me—mentioning why I thought they might care based on their previous work.
Also, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. I found sending pitches through emails directly to journalists or bloggers worked just as well, sometimes even better than distributing through PR sites. And don’t forget social media. Teasing the release a bit and engaging there often drove extra eyes to our news.
But, ya know, these are things you kinda learn by trying. Press releases were just part of a bigger approach, not the be-all-end-all strategy. It’s all a big ol’ experiment at the end of the day... -

Karan Patel seriously messed up his looks by bodybuilding
Thankgod someone said it! He used to look so good in starting phase of YHM then suddenly he had this idea of bulking up and he looked so old and aged, like really bad! I guess it's high time people realise bodybuilding, especially bulking up is not for everyone some people look good with their lean body only.
