I agree with people here saying that doctors can get irritated when people argue after self diagnosing from google, but the thing is, I have only seen these irritated doctors in my tier n city.

Whenever I have visited doctors in apollo chennai, kolkata, big hospitals in hyderabad, they have been very patient with our queries, making sure we come out with ample knowledge of what the next steps are and why so. This has not been the case in my hometown, where they get irritated if you start asking too many questions or start talking about symptoms that might look irrelevant to them. I am not someone who self diagnoses, I just ask questions to know why the doctor is prescribing a particular medicine/procedure, and I have found that doctors in big hospitals are usually receptive to such questions.
