My in-laws (both in their mid 60s) are selling their appartment in Lokmanya Nagar, Thane around 30 lacs (as you know most of the buildings are illegal) and planning to rent a 2Bhk in Vihang Project, Kasarvadavli on heavy deposit. The person is asking around 12 lacs for the same which I am finding is too much. For the area and appartment size, this seems incorrect too. Plus, is renting on heavy deposit is good idea? Rental Agreement Delay – Can I Speed Up the Process? I recently found a 1RK in Kisan Nagar 2 through NoBroker and was ready to proceed, but there's a delay in the rental agreement process. The owner told me: 1. They can only do documentation after March 15 since they'll be in their village. 2. The flat is listed as available from April 1. 3. Online rental agreement is possible earlier, but NoBroker requires a KYC visit for verification, which might take time. 4.
