Is it possible to downgrade from Sequoia to Monterey ? Haven't upgraded yet but am curious if I don't like it, can I revert back to what the MacBook originally had? Not worried about losing what is on the HD I was going to make a time machine back up with an external but I read that you would still be reverted to sequoia even if doing a reset? Is that true? Apple Intelligence stuck downloading! Help! What the title is. I've used AI before just fine but then it switched off randomly recently. I've reenabled it but now it's stuck at 100% even though my Mac has been connected to power and on a consistent WiFi. Can't find any solutions that worked online. Any help with this? Pop ups after updating to Sequoia OS After updating my iMac to Sequoia 15.2 I’ve been getting pop ups for applications. Please see attached photos. They never appeared before Sequoia and I don’t want to click something I shouldn’t. Has anyone seen these before? Can share my Mac (2017) screen to my Macbook M1 Pro (2020) over thunderbolt, but not the other way around. Just like the title says, I'm trying to use my old mac as a second monitor for my macbook, but it won't show up on the screen mirroring options. My Mac automatically capitalizes every single letter in my name. How can I fix this? Suddenly, every time I type My Name into my Mac it automatically is edited to MY NAME in all caps. I turned off the auto caps in settings, and that fixed the issue, but is there anyway I can keep on auto caps while fixing the name issue? Thanks! 4 1 replies
Extension(s) not working with web apps! So I'm using AdGuard and AdBlocker on Safari and they work great, especially for YouTube. But if I run YouTube as a web app, they don't work, even though this is a feature that was added in MacOS Sequoia. Any help on how I can make them work? 3 1 replies
Running windows on Silicon? I'm a big fan of MacBook hardware, but mostly due to work requirements I need a lot of windows. My setup for the last 10 years was MacBook pro with bootcamp, so I would boot directly into windows and would have nothing from max os. So now i need new hardware, silent/quiet, and I need windows. Besides windows I also use reaper DAW and fusion CAD. Since bootcamp is not coming back my only hope is parallels,but it have never used it. Mildly infuriating - MacOS more secure, no? I was posting a tip for a workaround I discovered when helping my husband on vacation with a hiccup using a government legal filing website on MacOS, and this guy won’t stop attacking me about why he should have never brought a mac to vacation in the first place bc it’s not a “professional OS” and that my husband’s “lesson learned” was that he should never have brought a mac to vacation to begin with. Browser that supports transparency? Is there a browser out there that supports full windows transparency (and not just theming of sidebars & address bars)? I've used [Transite for Windows](https://github.com/itsmikethetech/Transite), but can't find anything for my MacBook. It looks like you can use something like the yabai window manager, but you need to (partially?) [disable System Integrity Protection](https://github.com/koekeishiya/yabai/wiki/Disabling-System-Integrity-Protection) in order for yabai to modify files of Dock.app. I just want transparency plus I know it's not a great idea to disable SIP and let apps act as root and muck with protected directories and... 1 0 replies
