Is this cycle different? We hear it time and time again, this cycle is going to be different, there won’t be a crash, HODL. I’ve been in this space since mid 2017. Coinbase No Longer Paying Rewards While Unstaking Eth Up until a few weeks ago, Coinbase paid staking rewards during the unstaking period. It was explicitly stated in their unstaking pop-up flow. Sometime around mid to late November, this changed. As you can see below, the message now says that you will only earn rewards for the first day of the unstaking period. With unstaking times typically ranging from one to two weeks, this is not an insignificant difference.
