How can I improve in chess? Let me get straight to the point. I want to grow in chess. I used to play a lot 6-7 months ago, and at that time, my peak Elo was around 800+ (below average?). Has Ding Liren overcame his mental issues? Context: Sagar Shah's interview with Ding Liren. I just saw Ding's interview with Sagar Shah. He looked much more calm and actually a chill guy. Ding seems happier than ever after he lost his title to Gukesh Dommaraju. He did not seam happy and felt as if he was internally conflicted after winning WCC against nepo in 2022.
