Tiruvannamalai pilgrimage donation - genuine or scam? This happened just now - a group of 4 swamiji s (tambrams basically), knocked on our door, all dressed up in panchakacham and rudraksha mala and said they were taking up pilgrimage to Tiruvannamalai for Karthika deepam. Immediately i understood, they were seeking donation. Now despite being religious, i do not encourage this door to door canvassing, like annadanams, temple building, most importantly the Saai baba thallu vandi donation gang. Autowalas are the largest group of unionised toxic people I have no sympathy for autowalas esp in Chennai and Bangalore. All I have are bad experiences with them. 1.2km ku 350 ketkaranga. On top of that some of the most repeat harrasment charges against girls are on these guys only. Its not safe to allow your daughter or sister to walk along any auto stand. What am I doing wrong ? Auto fares.. I travel to Chennai every 15 days. So I always deport from terminal 1 and land in Chennai terminal 4. I travel to tharamani, my IT park. But auto fares differs Tharamani to Terminal 1 - 200 rs Terminal 4 to tharamani - 900 rs So am I doing anything wrong ! Am I being scammed ? Auto driver charged 500 Rupees to tell the route I have a personal experience with an auto guy in Trichy who demanded / charged 500 rupees for telling the route.
