    Birthday

Hi All, I (28F) have my birthday in 2 days and I am at an age where celebrating birthdays like old style feels too childish. I’m looking for ideas to celebrate it in a way that’s simple, wholesome, fulfilling, and beautiful. I’d love something that feels meaningful and doesn’t require too much extravagance. Any suggestions? TIA

Two old geezers are stubborn & irritating others, for window seat in train.

Recently, i returned from my native via train. Unfortunately, i didn't get confirmed with my berth. So, i had to travel in Unreserved coach.(not my 1st time, it happens often in my case). Later, 2 old ladies (above 60 for sure) got onboard in the next station. Next, In the upcoming station, two window seats on both the sides will become free.so the rest of the members on the aisle will supposed to move towards the window, right! Those 2 ladies got seats free at the corner already and...

My 3 month Journey on No Nut and No Alcohol!

One of the most difficult but rewarding changes has been overcoming my alcohol addiction and the challenges of the "no nut" phase. It hasn't been easy, but the results are absolutely worth it. Here's a look at how I turned things around in these two major areas: Quitting Alcohol: From Social Habit to Complete Control For past 3 years,.drinking was a part of my life, especially after a difficult breakup....

My mom almost got scammed by Uber auto driver- please read TLDR

This happened to my mom, and I’m so mad at this. Today she was returning back home, and was trying to get an auto. Already had 4 cancellations because the drivers either didn’t want to come or were demanding a lot of extra money. Finally one dude came through Uber. Projected cost showed rs. 90 in my mom’s app and she was ready to give rs. 100. During the trip, the driver took a different and longer route that wasn’t on the map, despite my mom telling him not...

    No suffering is eternal

I was travelling in the metro to govt estate and had to change lines at Central. I had a memorable Christmas with my friends and was returning home. While waiting for the train, a man around his 40s was griping in a sorrowful way to his dad and was having a breakdown while moving in the elevator. I wanted to say something to pacify him but my social anxiety stopped me. I'm writing this here cuz i was just contemplating my life after going through a bad heartbreak this...
