What's the most rebellious or craziest thing u did that ur parents are unaware of?

    1. Juggling College and a Long-Distance Relationship: As a college student living on the outskirts of Hyderabad, I had to balance my studies with a part-time job. My classes would end by 6 pm, and then I’d rush to catch a bus to Ameerpet, change to another bus to MG Road, just to spend a few hours with my girlfriend. I'd reach MG Road around 7:30 pm, and we’d savor those three hours before I had to leave. Afterward, I'd walk 4 km to Ameerpet since I couldn't afford...

Looking for friends who can teach me dosa making

I've always relied on ID dosa batters and ready mix chutneys. After tasting Taaza Thindi's, MTR's and Rameshwaram's I've developed an itch to replicate the same taste. Not sure how to do that starting from raw material to final product. So, looking out for people who can teach me. TIA

I waste 6.65 days per year on Bangalore traffic

I used to live in Bangalore from 2012 to 2018, again for 10 months in 2023. For rough calculation once upon a time I spent 150 mins daily to travel between my office and home. Later, when I bought my own vehicle I spent average 60 mins on weekdays instead of 20 mins for ~6km office to and fro. So per day I spent average 40 mins extra. If I calculate that in a year I closed to spend 6.65 days on road. With that 6 days in my...

I just had a terrible experience with Air India at Terminal 2

I just had a terrible experience with Air India at Terminal 2. I arrived 35 minutes before the check-in deadline and i was waiting for 30 minutes, but when I tried to check in, their system wasn’t connecting. I was directed to another machine, which also didn’t work. Finally, a staff member at the manual check-in counter told me I was out of time because the system was blocked. I do know they have this rule but I was moving between different lines and I forgot about it. I...

What is the salary of a BluSmart driver?

My driver says he gets Rs. 700 per day fixed salary. And no bonus per ride. Was wondering if he’s being honest… Considering BluSmart charges a premium from customers, they must be paying the drivers more.

I was admitted in a psychiatric ward for 2 weeks!

Hello everyone, I’m a 26-year-old male software engineer diagnosed with severe clinical depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. Last year, around April, I was admitted to Maarga People Tree Hospital in Yelahanka for ketamine therapy. I wanted to share my experience in the hope that it might help someone going through a similar situation. Diagnosis and Initial Treatment I was first diagnosed with depression and anxiety in 2022. Since then, I’ve been on antidepressants, mood stabilizers, and regular therapy. Despite these efforts, my condition worsened significantly in April 2024. I...

Appreciation post for Navi Health Insurance and Apollo Hospitals

I was admitted to Apollo Hospitals (Banerghetta Road) for 8 days in the last week of December 2024 with high fever, body pain, and chills. While I suspected that it might be dengue, it eventually turned out to be community-driven pnuemonia. This is an appreciation post for both Apollo Hospitals and Navi Health Insurance. The doctors at Apollo were top-notch and systematically went about eliminating other conditions like dengue, malaria, HIV etc. Once they figured out it was pnuemonia, they put me on the required antibiotics. The nurses there...

    Cat Foster Post

I'm currently looking after my friend's 3 year old cat, called Pookie. My friend is currently in her hometown for her delivery. I was planning on looking after Pookie for another 1 ~2 months until my friend's husband comes back to town. But now, i might have to travel on-site somewhere around the mid to end of this month. I wanted to ask here if anyone is willing to take her in for a few weeks, probably a little over a month. She's vaccinated, dewormed and spayed. She's extremely...
