    KR Market attitude problem

Many shopkeepers are uneducated. They don't talk to you with a straight face. They will tell you"Buy from there if it's cheaper" with no respect for customers. Traffic blocking every now and then. Inflated egos of all people. Formal and informal businesses all thriving but the ego problems are next level. Everyone acts like a goon.

Hello everyone, I have put up alert for adoption of kittens 3 orange and 1 void kitten. All of the leads have backed out. All kittens are very playful and highly active. Apart from the 4 kittens we have 2 adult cats with us. All 4 have done with first round of deworming and first dose of vaccine. We can drop the kittens off at your place within Bangalore. Innocent guy got slapped 3 times by a chapri auto wala.

I was walking near Austin Town(near neelsandra) when an auto lightly touched a boy (around 19-20 years old). The boy shouted a bad word -BSDK, and ironically, the auto driver started shouting back and even slapped the boy three times. The boy didn’t fight back because the driver was a local and might have a gang. One person stepped in to calm things down, acted to blame the boy and the driver left, later told him to be safe. What shocked me was how casual everyone else was—traffic kept moving, and people...

    Unwarranted judgement over NYE Celebrations.

I noticed a lot of videos of drunk girls and guys doing the rounds on the net and the social media handles of various news outlets. Firstly, everyone knows someone or the other in your friend circle who may have gotten wasted in one your night-outs so splashing photos and videos of individuals where they’re doing no harm to others is unwarranted. Secondly, the more disturbing fact is the comments on these posts. Most comments are again playing the north-south divide card, blaming outsiders for spoiling the “culture” of...

    T-goons in Bangalore

So I was in a phone shop getting a screenguard for my phone in Prashanth Layout (near Kadugodi Tree Park Metro) when a Trans dude came into the shop, started asking for money. Even the shopkeeper freaked out. I told him I didn't had any cash and he pulled out his phone asking me to gpay him. I stood my ground and refused. Dude pressed on my wrist. I pressed on his wrist much much harder so he had to let go of me. But dude caught me offguard...

Eve teasing a 13 year old

My sister was walking back from her tuitions which is a 5 min walk from home, two men on a scooter follow her all along the way, then stop right in front of her smirk at her and then drive away. Keep In mind she is 13 a literal child. She comes home and says "did I do something wrong" And all she did was existed, will police complaints over such matters even be taken seriously?

Got Scammed by a Swiggy Delivery Guy – New Scam In The City

Hey everyone, I wanted to share something that happened to me today while ordering from Swiggy. It was both frustrating and eye-opening, and I hope it helps others avoid getting scammed. So, as usual, I ordered my food, and right before the delivery, I got a call from the delivery partner. The name on the app was "Gousia Begum" (a female name), but the person on the call was a guy. Since the call came from Swiggy’s official number, I didn’t think much of it. The guy said there...

Return pickup asking tips! What to do?

Recently purchased electronic items offline, each and every item delivery person asked for tips. I’m not used to it since Amazon/flipkart/etc never does. But it’s celebration time for us, so why not share the same with them, and we did. One of the appliance installation technician found dents and created a replacement report for us. Now offline replacements are different than e-commerce, separate people deliver and do return pickup. Delivery came first and again tipped him second time for same appliance (started feeling a bit scammy, ngl). It went...

Creepy Experience with a Swiggy Delivery Guy

I had a really creepy experience with a Swiggy delivery guy recently. I’d placed a COD order, and when the food arrived, my phone suddenly switched off as I was trying to pay. I asked the delivery guy to wait for a couple of minutes, and he asked me for some water since he was thirsty. I told him there was chai in the package and that he could take it, but instead of just accepting it, he asked me to serve him and even if he could come...

Airtel vs Hathway vs Jio Broadband? Which one to get? Facing issues with ACT

I am looking to get a new broadband connection, but I'm not sure which one to go for. TATA Play Fibre is not available at my location, so my options are Airtel, Jio, Hathway, or Excitel. Ngl, Excitel or Tikona is not something I'd consider. ACT was working fine for me, but these days it's very unstable and I cannot even attend Google/Zoom meetings as the connection gets interrupted so much. I'm looking for a solid replacement that'll let me work remotely with peace.

Witnessed a man getting bumped by metro train

I just witnessed a man getting bumped by the metro train at Kengeri. I was on the other train, we just reached the metro station and on the other side, saw a man sliding down the platform. I even heard an audible thud. I don't know how he is, I didn't loiter around there for too long. But there was a quite a commotion and both metro routes were halted for about 10 minutes. Why don't we have guard rails installed? I always felt two security guards on each...
