Jonkey Borthakur's demise has changed Zubeen Garg's life for the worse! My opinion! First of all, I was shocked to be aware that Zubeen Garg's younger sister Jonkey Borthakur has passed away in a car accident alongside his best friend who also passed away in the car accident on January 11th in 2002 and the incident has changed Zubeen Garg's life for the worse and he immediately becomes an alcoholic which means he has been suffering from alcoholism and moreover alcohol has been taking a huge toll on his voice. I was also absolutely surprised to be aware that he is such... 1 0 replies

Attacked my girlfriend's identity and pride, albeit accidentally and unintentionally, how do I make up for it? Alright, so without cutting the crap I'll come straight to the point. Both ot us are students in the same college, and yes she's Assamese and I'm a "mainland person". She eas gone home for a week, so this conversation happened over text... A couple of days back. We were discussing something and I do not know how or why, but the discussion went towards what she'll do after her graduation, to which she replied that she'll just go back to Assam, to her people, and work for them.... 5 10 replies

He also mentioned about his parents facing violent repercussions for speaking bodo. He also said that his bodo parents were rather forced to practice vaishnavism than practicing bathouism. Why is kamata , koch kingdom aren't as celebrated as ahoms? Given the fact their rule span multiple centuries, they are hardly known by childrens today. Even I don't tbh anything substantial about them, koch, kachari, chutiya kingdom. Given their long presence (and being tholuwa rulers) didn't they someway or other shape current assamese society/language/culture ? 1 0 replies
