Hello guys, I'm a resident of Guwahati. Hi, I’m visiting Assam with my family (2 adults & 2 kids) for a vacation this month for some peace, nature and wildlife and would appreciate any tips and info. Below is our itinerary. We plan to spend 2 days at a homestay at the Jia Bhareli river and from there head to Kaziranga for 3 nights and from there to Cherrapunji for an another three nights. If you visited the zoo recently like in the past month, can you tell me how was it? Like the animals, did it have all the animals? The last time I visited was in 2017. I want to know beforehand to not get disappointed. I went to Delhi zoo two weeks ago and it was absolutely disappointing. A pathetic experience. The animals there were barely surviving.
