"Is Hindi Mandatory in ISC Class 11 Science Stream? Exploring Optional Subject Choices"

"I'm considering enrolling in the ISC curriculum for Class 11 with a focus on the science stream, including subjects like Mathematics. I would like to know if Hindi is a compulsory subject in this stream. If Hindi is not mandatory, what are the alternative subjects that students can opt for instead? Additionally, are there any specific guidelines or restrictions on choosing these optional subjects? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated."

Living with parents/in-laws after marriage. How do you justify it?

I'm from a tier one Indian city, my parents are in their late 50s. I grew up in a nuclear family, so I absolutely cannot relate. I also moved out of my parents place very early on since I went to college abroad, worked abroad for a couple of years. As an adult I've only lived the pandemic years in my own parents house. (just some context) But how do people choose to live with their parents or in-laws after having a spouse in the picture? If my grandparents...

    why is india so polarized?

Subreddits that are either misogynistic or misandrist, have posts where hating women/men is perfectly fine and upvoted alot. My biggest problem with these things is the fact that they call themselves "liberal" I mean you might aswell call yourself right wing if you're going to be favouring one group over the other. There's upper caste hatred by the leftists, and the lower caste hatred by the right wingers. There's muslims/christians hatred by the right wingers and then there's hindu hatred by the left wingers. My point is why can't...

My landlord asked me not to complain as nothing will happen and things can go worse for me. I am...

Why do Indian parents expect to be treated like gods

When I was a child, my parents cursed me, blamed me, and made me feel like I had ruined their lives. But despite all of that, they wantd me to worship them. When I was just three, my mother would beat me, and afterward, she would force me to join my hands and touch her feet, sometimes for what felt like forever. As I grew older, this never stopped. Before going to school, tuition, or even just a nearby shop, I had to touch their feet like I'm a...

I see a lot of opinions about what Indians should change..brother we know..it's not like we don't know the problem ..if u have the solution and power implement it..otherwise why is so much discussion about this..according to me the only problem is money..every other discussion is for intellectuals to get a ego boost..
