[RANT] I'm sick of this country

I'm fed up of this country yaar. People are going out of their way to get offended by things said in IGL. The video was behind a paywall and 18+ restricted. When people know it's a filthy show, then why watch it? Indian crab mentality to boycott, getting "offended," and pulling someone down who's getting successful. Ministers voicing their opinion against this. Whereas no outcry from them when there is news of MLAs raping minors. Rape cases, suicides don't deserve their attention. No education or moral test for becoming...

Trapped in Grindr Honeytrap Scam - Need Advice

I am 20M from Mumbai and am here to study in a college. Have been staying in mumbai from 2 years now. I'm openly gay and i recently told my parents as well. Two days back I had met a guy on grindr and he was interested in me as well. I gave him my contact. He calls me today and asks if we could meet. I kinda hesitated because I had work. I asked him if weekends are possible and he said some reasons and kinda forced me...

Indian Parents Exposed: Asli Sach Kya Hai?

Indian parents duniya ke sabse "ideal", "caring" aur "sacrificing" parents maane jaate hain, par asal mein yeh bhi apne flaws aur hypocrisy se bhare pade hain. Yeh jo "hum tumhare liye sab kuch karte hain" ka drama karte hain, uske peeche ka sach kuch aur hi hota hai. --- 1. "Hum Tumhari Bhalaai Chahte Hain" - Nahi, Bas Control Chahte Hain Indian parents sirf apni expectations poori karwane ke liye jeete hain, tumhari happiness ke liye nahi. Tumhari life decisions – career, marriage, even kapde pehnne tak – sab...

Credit Card & Mini Loan Rising, Youth is Frustrated, Opinion?

Growing up, I feel there were lot of gaps in financial education which was given to lot of us. The big guys in BLR/MUM/DEL are spurring mini loans and credit card for all, even those with low Cibil score. Indian aren't ready for it and are taking it to keep their status game on and ending up getting fucked mentally at a very younge age. My brother lost around ~10L in F&O using loan/credit card money which is still on rotation. I am sure these companies must have given...

Finally got a crime free country(IGL)

So as we all know those “honest” politicians and “matured uncles” have forced to delete all the episode of the IGL. I can sense a country now which is free from crime, can breathe free air, no traffic, no unemployment.. Wowwww just by closing a show how much developed we have becomeeee

Our culture is so fragile that it can be destroyed by a mere joke?

I have never been confident enough to say this But our culture has always been supportive with: Marital Rape Dowery Caste based Racism Child Marriage Homophobia and so much more but a joke is where we Draw the line and the whole country stand against it. It's never been the case against terrorism, men's right, global warming or women safety?

Why do so many people in India pretend to be ultraconservative and sanskari in public, only to turn around and do the exact opposite behind closed doors? Have you ever caught one of these “morality warriors” red handed doing something so hypocritical it shattered their entire bhartiya sanskriti act?

Do you all prefer having a beard or being clean shaven?

I (M20) am in a bit of a dilemma here. I think I look alright but I have chubby cheeks which just looks out of place with the rest of my body. I know this is not due to poor fitness as I am quite athletic and have good muscle definition on my abs, arms, and legs. If I'm clean shaven, my face looks like that of a 15-year-old and you can already guess why this may be annoying. However, if I grow my beard, I start looking like...

Why do we indians lack civic sense

Seeing all the videos of people breaking down windows of trains and traveling like cattels on trains to go to mahakumbh just to take a holy dip, I dont get it, what's the point of being religious when you can't follow basic rules and regulations and can't be a good person, what makes us think that by taking a dip in ganga ( which happens to be the most polluted river in india) will cleanse all our sins, why can't we become a good person first? I feel like...

The Unspoken Racism in Nagaland: A Growing Concern

Why does no one talk about the racism in Nagaland? Apart from the Nagas, people from other tribes are often referred to as "Miya," and discrimination is widespread. The local Nagas are often extremely rude and arrogant, behaving in a way similar to "gunda" (goons). Recently, a new rule has been introduced by the locals, making it mandatory for every business owner to hire at least one Naga employee, essentially enforcing a reservation-like system. Additionally, illegal taxation is imposed on non-Naga people. While it's true that Nagas face racism...

How do I tell my father that he is holding me back from my life and career?

I would really appreciate some help here! My father is very much emotionally dependent on me. He is a school teacher and apart from teaching in school, he has no other life. Honestly, his side of the family is extremely toxic and abusive (he still tries to please them though), and my mom and dad have completely different view points in life, and are more like just partners who have to live together. He is extremely dependent on me.  All this was fine when I was in school and...

Why are we Indians so much insecure?

After living abroad and coming back this is the most striking part about our country. People will stand in a row squeezing together as if somebody would enter in between. While waiting at a red signal, people will try to pounce and squeeze onto the front vehicles just to be at the forefront of the signal literally crossing the zebra line. We don’t trust people on footpath so we start walking on road and because vehicle drivers/riders don’t trust roads we start driving/riding on footpath. Bashing others while walking...

Have you ever cheated and kept it a secret? Does the guilt ever go away?

I Cheated, and No One Knows—Not Even Her Throwaway because I can never admit this to anyone. I never saw myself as the kind of guy who would cheat. I had a stable marriage, a wife who loved me, and a life that looked good from the outside. But somehow, it happened. And the strangest part? No one—not my wife, not her husband, not even my closest friends—ever found out. It started unexpectedly. Sneha and I had been college friends. Just that. She got married young, moved away, and...
