What's your dream country to spend the rest of your life?

If you could choose any place or country(other than India ofc) in the world to settle down and spend the rest of your life, where would it be and why? Would it be somewhere bustling and vibrant, like Tokyo or New York City? Or perhaps a peaceful, scenic spot like the Swiss Alps or a tropical island? I’d love to hear what draws you to your dream location—whether it’s the culture, food, weather, people, or something else entirely!

Need advice on how to approach a girl I recently saw

I (26M) saw a girl one week ago. She works as a receptionist in a hospital. I went there for my sister's health check up. Instantly, I got a liking for her because of the way she speaks, her smile, and how sweet she looks. I couldn't take my eyes off her most of the times. She also noticed it. Later, while she was leaving the hospital, coincidentally I was coming from the way. She smiled a bit while looking at me, I aslo smiled back. But, then I...

Indians with Spot-On British Accents, How Did You Learn It?

I recently got a job that requires me to speak and understand English in a British accent. Could you share your tips on how you transitioned from an Indian accent to a British one? Note: Please avoid suggestions like going abroad and learning directly from native speakers.

How people who eat meat support animal rights?

Is there some psychological term like cognitive dissonance or contradicting qualities or commitment consistency (Robert cialdini) or something for this behaviour. arguments - 1. We don’t torture them at least it’s an instant death: it’s a torture the moment life enters the meat house till they die) 2. We eat only specific animals, some species are more conscious than other animals. 3. Animals are lesser species: Then don’t support their rights. 4. I don’t think so much.

    Mohabbat Ke Rang

It happened quietly, like the sun slipping over the horizon. Your eyes met mine for a moment too brief, yet it stretched into forever. I wondered, could a nazm begin with silence? For in that stolen second, my heart wrote its first verse, and the world ceased to exist. Love, at first, is a garden in spring soft, fragrant, and full of life. Your laughter sounded like ghungroo, ringing softly in forgotten corners of my soul. We tiptoed through stolen time, afraid to breathe too loud lest the spell...

What can an average-looking man do to date without being labeled "creepy" or "desperate"?

I'm an average-looking Indian guy (self-confidence level: I’m decent enough, no need to call the cops yet) with no dating history, and hope to get some genuine advice. Dating apps like Tinder and Bumble don’t really feel like my thing, it feels too much like being judged solely on facial features, and that’s not the vibe I want to go for. What are some ways I can put myself out there in real life without coming across as creepy or desperate? I genuinely want to meet someone and build...

    How much do you earn?

Let’s face it, we all come across high salaries being mentioned on Reddit. I would like to the actual in-hand salary that people get in India. So, what’s your in-hand salary per month? Please don’t include stock/ performance bonus, just your monthly salary that you get in your account. Edit: Also, include the in-hand salary of your spouse (if you have one)

Love Marriage, No Family Support – Torn Between Moving Abroad and Staying in India

I’m a 30M working in the IT sector, and my wife is also 30, employed in a state government job (desk work, no bribes). Together, we earn around 1 lakh per month. We had a love marriage, so we don’t have support from either of our families. We don’t have kids yet, and my wife doesn’t have any extended family here either. Lately, I’ve been seriously considering moving abroad. I’m worried about issues like corruption, muscle power, and how our taxes are spent here in India. I believe that...

My friend wants to marry his love of life, but the complex family bonds make it incestuous...can it still work ?

My friend (M28) is in love with a girl (F27). Both are pursuing higher education in medical field. They fell in love during first year of MBBS and are together since. Now the problem is that the grandmother of the guy is first cousin sister of the grandfather of the girl. And the maternal grandmother of girl's mom & guy's mom is the same. They are north Indian Hindu brahmins and it turned really awkward for them when they discovered.
