- Not at the beginning, the shifts are generally rotational and you do what your team does. As you age, depending on your rapport you may get an option but its an IF AND BUT sorta thing.

- As i said, nope, you do shifts that your team does.

Do they let you start your shift at a later time/take a day off and work on your actual days off to make up for it, stating exams/practicals as the reason?
- Taking offs, logging in on time and half days are going to be very controlled and they are going to be strict about it because BPOs main resource is its workforce so they will try to keep up with the roster as much as possible and the roster depends on the call predicitions

What about the work culture?
- It's good in a way, teaches you responsibility and punctuality but my take is always finish your studies first if you don't have a financial issue in which case working and studying at the same time is fine.
