If you saw the episode, how big of a fuss he first made that he himself is the most deserving one to win the show. Only when Kangana kept asking him repeatedly to name one out of Karan and Vivian as the winner then named Karan. I think the guy is insecure, biased and selfish yes, but beyond these qualities, he is also honest, and we have seen the same in the last few weeks. I use it, I like the UI, mostly...a few annoyances, but for now I overlook them. It's better than office type suites for me, I like the fact it uses markdown as standard rather than some proprietary formatting syntax. You don't need any app installed to use it and you can copy paste between any markdown supporting app. It does what I need, it's unobtrusive, and it doesn't slow me down , which is the main thing I guess.

In my opinion surfer was good for what worked like 3+ years ago. When everyone was in a rush to write the longest article with high keyword density at the expense of readability and user experience.

But it hasn’t evolved and using surfer and following its recommendations can easily lead to hard to read, overoptimized content that is way too long. It’s fine for grabbing nlp and entities, but you need to be smart about implementing them and not just blindly try to get a high score.

On one of my sites, the biggest traffic article is short and gets a low surfer score, but it performs great because it’s in line with HCU and user experience. Surfer does not seem to have integrated an understanding of HCU parameters.

I personally cancelled it 2 years ago and then just tried it again hoping they fixed things but it’s still the same bs so I cancelled it again.
