I use opera GX, with the tracker and a blocker which have been disabled for literal years.

A few weeks ago, YouTube started acting in a weird way, with all the ads appearing completely black, no video, no skip button, just the audio. I then received an ultimatum urging me to remove my ad blocker, even tho I never used one.

Deleted all my cookies but it's not working, only thing working is to change accounts (which is nonsensical, one account works and the other doesn't ? like wtf), but the ads still appear completely black

What the hell is happening ? is this a result of their anti-adblocker war ? I'm not even using one ???
