This sounds like more of a rant against your bf's company or his team culture tbh, most consultants who get an MBA done are expected to show managerial aptitude which does require burdensome work going beyond timelines. As such, if he wants he can pivot to industries which are not completely into business acumen .i.e. WITCH companies. Regarding the project management part, he can work on switching profiles by performing a certification in PMP or ITIL which could help getting scrum master or project manager roles but his work exp is a bit low for consideration.

I would suggest going to Nehru place, there is a shop there where I got my mac screen replaced from there. It's been 6 years running as brand new. Apple store gave us an estimate of 30k , I got it done at 10k from nehru place.
