nobody's judging in any big cities like Amdawad, Baroda not Surat though, it's feels like a big village not a city

2*where Hindi and English can be widely understood too (although slowly I can try to learn it in meanwhile) .

everyone in Gujarat can speak Hindi thanks to Bollywood, there are south Indians living in even most rural areas of Gir working as teachers, people from UP/Bihar/Maharashtra working as bank employees in villages and even they don't face any problems so dw

3*Helpful people (although according to my knowledge most gujjus are like that but please tell which ones better🙏).

Amdawad has least helpful people because everyone in city seems busy but still compared to other states Amdawadis seem super helpful, not compared to other places in Gujarat though

4*Safest for women .

almost whole Gujarat is safe for women other than Jambur, but generally don't go to shady places, stay away from muslim areas and you know the rest if you're Indian. Generally Amdawad police reaches within 15 min if you call so it's good

5*Not very upscale.

6*Affordable and better rents .

Well affordable and facilities won't go hand in hand, average rent in Gir is like 2k a month for 2bhk and in Amdawad same will be for 28k in good areas

7*Best facilities .

Amdawad has metro, BRTS, AMTS so public transport is great and also mybike for renting cycles. Amdawad doesn't have power cuts, no water problems and everything you expect from big cities. Though food is trash compared to other parts of Gujarat and expensive as hell

8*With more friendly people to know more about the place.

depends on you honestly, whole India is friendly and it's better to not generalize, you can find bad people everywhere but generally people of Amdawad are friendlier, people from Kathiawad (Saurashtra) and Surat have a habit of saying things straight at face which might seem rude to outsiders but they've a clean heart and are more helpful than Amdawadis.

9*With better job facilities .

Please tell me which field you're in so I can help better, if you're a mallu teacher then come to Sommnath/Veraval, if you're in IT there are tens of MNCs in Amdawad - Gandhinagar (GIFT), if you wanna work as diamond or textile worker come to Surat, for chemical/pharma Ankleshwar, there's AMUL in Anand too.


To summarise :
- Surat : big city, not so modernized people, might seem toxic but are super helpful
- Amdawad - Gandhinagar : best city in Gujarat, more westernised people, are nicer but not as helpful
- Gir : villages which are cheap but not undeveloped, power cuts only for 5h in Sundays, no water problems, decent roads but not that high paying jobs. DON'T COME HERE IF YOU WANNA SAVE MONEY AND RETURN, COME HERE ONLY IF YOU WANNA SETTLE PERMANENTLY
- Kutch : best for mechanical engineers or wood mills, Bhuj is one of the most developed parts of Gujarat rn imo
- Anand : has amul and few more chemical related factories, feels like Amdawad but no good public transport
- Ankleshwar : many chemical factories, not good to live in as air smells but a lot of high paying chemical engineering jobs
