Oh, boy! Had a detailed conversation about this just a few days ago with the driver. He said he gets paid 650 guaranteed everyday, & if he is able to do a rides worth 20K a week, he gets 3.5K bonus per week for that. He also gets paid 107 Rs. Per week to clean the car. He also gets paid 50Rs/ hr. as OT & since he drives from 6:30 PM to 4:30 am shift, he usually does airport trips & ends up doing overtime of 2-3 hours everyday. He also said there is a bonus for doing 10-12 trips (don't remember the exact number) So he usually ends up making 9-11k per week.

However, they also have many penalties, their pay is deducted on several occasions if they report late to duty by even few minutes, if out of all the rides they have done for that day, even if one person gives an adverse review they don't get the whole bonus for that day. They have to follow speed restrictions according to their app & if they exceed the speed limit they get a warning ( which I heard once or twice during the whole trip) & even after getting the warning, if they continue exceeding speed limit at a single stretch about 50 Rs ( again not sure of the number). is deducted for every warning ( which is about every 15-30 seconds). He also said some drivers switch off the GPS to evade this but are fined that day's bonus for doing so.
