If I had the following options:
1. Working with founders who have incubator and fundraising experience
2. Working with founder with a brilliant idea but no experience.
I would choose option 1, the market is really bad in terms of fundraising as I have been seeing data that post series A many start ups are struggling.
If I were you, I would negotiate either my holding percentage or vesting period if I am capable of bringing value to the table. Go for milestone/ performance based vesting with higher % share instead of 8 years of time based vesting for merely 10% if you gonna do heavy lifting. Milestone/performance based vesting are in trend in the recent times. (For eg:- 20% of shares vest if the company gets its first 1000 customers, 20% when company gets its first funding round etc.)
