Caste in South Indian culture is weird. We all know caste has no real lineage in South India. And upper caste isn't even upper caste, it is dominant caste(power/population) among Sudras of a region. There are darker and fairer skinned people within castes. But when it comes to marriage, suddenly the lower sudra caste is given stereotypes about everything from looks to personality. These biases are just the insecurity of those that "need to" feel better than others.

Read some philosophical texts, whichever ones you always wanted to but never had the chance. Bring stability to your mind and control it. Not every goal needs to be achieved nor is every blockage a disaster. Discover your purpose and progress towards it, however slow it may seem. Life really is the journey not the end, however cliche it may sound.
