There's no "good" in this world.
Its the world that Is evil, not Just humans. You must practice meditation and understand that we belong to the spiritual world, not the material world -

How my first indie hacking year went
Great council. I want to underscore how hard it is to build a sustainable and profitable business. There's a lot of competing factors that make you fail and succeed.
One thing to add is to partner with someone that understands the business side of a product. Some of the big companies you've heard of would have never survived this long without amazing business acumen -
moving abroad
OP, I have a word of caution.
The current protectionist measures adopted by governments worldwide, coupled with the anti-immigration sentiment in countries like the US, Canada, and Australia, and the subsequent changes to visa policies, may make settling abroad (obtaining citizenship or permanent residency) more challenging in the future.
Tidbit I got to know recently: EB5 Investor visa that costs 1 million USD was earlier getting folks a green card in 1 year. Since there is a country cap for all visas and a lot of Indians(who are rich) are using it apply for EB5 - the wait time for an investor green card even if you spend 8 Crs is now 2-3 years. -
Is 10% as a Tech Founder a bad deal or could it be reasonable?
It sounds like me like they are thinking of you as an employee rather than a founder. 10% is incredibly generous for a non-founder cto.
So if they’re offering salary + 10% it really sounds like an employer / employee relationship. For everyone saying that it should be equal 33% across the board, that generally is true if no capital is involved. If they’re offering salary have 500k promised, they can easily hire a head of technical and give away 5-10% rather than 33. -

Hyderabadi Biryani Cloud Kitchen
This is not the advice you asked for, but I'm just going to quote a comment I made on a similar post a while back.
>Cloud kitchens are an extremely difficult model. After platform commission, packaging cost, procurement cost, labour cost, etc, most are unable to break even let alone run profitably. That is assuming you are able to (1) secure demand in an extremely competitive market full of well funded brands with excellent name recognition (2) scale without loss of quality.
>
>Read this [Entrackr report](https://entrackr.com/2024/03/decoding-the-financial-health-of-leading-cloud-kitchen-startups/) on cloud kitchen startups. Not even startups that have bagged dozens of millions of dollars in funding from VCs are able to make this business model work profitably. And they are running well known brands at huge scale.
>
>The cloud kitchen model was a decent business during Covid when it didn't have to compete with dine-in, but that's no longer the case. Not saying this to discourage you, but the mistake everyone makes when starting a business is to speak to only the prospective customers. Customers can help you understand the problem side of the equation, but have no understanding of how to execute a solution. Contact some people who run cloud kitchens and ask them how their businesses are doing. That will give you a better understanding of what it actually takes to run this business well. -
Nancy Mace’s Capitol Hill Bathroom Ban Missing from House Rules Package - Mike Johnson’s assurances from November that the controversial ban would be included appear to have fallen through.
Wait - you’re telling me Republicans spent weeks yapping to the media about culture wars instead of doing their jobs, then they didn’t even do what they said they would? Oh my god! I might start to think the GOP creates fake issues to distract the public from the fact that they don’t do shit and have no platform. -
Trump complains that US flags will be half-staff on his inauguration day
> President-elect Donald Trump complained on Friday that American flags would still be lowered to half-staff in honor of the late President Jimmy Carter during Trump's Jan. 20 inauguration.
> President Joe Biden ordered flags lowered to half-staff for 30 days from the day of Carter's death on Dec. 29, as is custom when a U.S. president dies.
> Trump, who has announced plans to attend Carter's memorial service in Washington on Jan. 9, took issue in a Truth Social post on Friday with the flags remaining in the mourning position during his swearing-in ceremony.
> "The Democrats are all 'giddy' about our magnificent American Flag potentially being at 'half mast' during my Inauguration," Trump said, employing a term frequently used for the lowered position when the flag is on a ship.
"They think it’s so great, and are so happy about it because, in actuality, they don’t love our Country, they only think about themselves," Trump said.
> Trump said that due to Carter's death last week the American flag would "for the first time ever during an Inauguration of a future President, be at half mast."
> "Nobody wants to see this, and no American can be happy about it. Let’s see how it plays out," he said.
> **White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said the White House had no plans to reconsider the decision.** -
