Delhi Transport Corporation losses mounted by Rs 35,000 crore in 6 years: CAG
>The primary reason for the losses was DTC fares remaining unchanged since 2009, sources said, with the Delhi govt refusing to pay heed to multiple requests. **The burden further went up as women were given free bus rides.** The auditor also pointed to the absence of any business plan and there was no roadmap to check the bleeding and to ensure its financial viability, said sources who have seen the report.

How do you guys cope with having no irl and online friends?
Never had real life friends and gave up with fake online friends a few years ago. Nowadays I cope by interacting with my own kind here on this sub. It might be the closest thing many of us will ever get to having actual "friends", even though we're all anonymous here. At least we know we're all in this together and can relate. -

2.) I would recommend a "perfectionist" who knows the meaning of "perfection is the enemy of the good". Ie. Striving for greatness, but not getting lost in the pursuit. Establish good KPIs, and iterate to improve them. I like data driven decisions and periodically reviewing the direction and status quo to ensure things are trending in the right direction, big picture.
Balancing between early quality, shipping, and traction is important. In most start-ups, you will pivot a lot early on while finding product market fit. This may mean throwing away a lot of well built things that are useless. Fail fast, and move on.
Making good architectural decisions early is important, as a well built system can allow the successful pieces to be rebuilt as you scale, if needed; more likely, being redesigned to adapt to changing needs. Early on, focus on flexibility to accomodate this until your business/revenue is well defined.
1.) While LLMs can be lackluster at writing good code, they tend to perform well if asked what code is trying to do. A great tool for learning. But realistically, you can't be great at all things: finding, empowering, and trusting experts tends to be a hallmark of good leadership.

Overall, be ambitious, work hard, and learn a lot. Most entrepreneurs don't nail it on the first go, but the lessons learned should propel you further each time. If you're new grads, try to find some mentors. -

This might not go the way you expect, but, it is sincere advice. Your CTO must be someone with experience building products, the technology decisions made at an early stage are very important (a lot of people underestimate the importance), bad decisions made in the name of "speed" are very costly, and, sometimes, can put you in a "live or die" scenario. My best advice is not to underestimate the effort of building the product the right way from the beginning, find someone with experience, believe me, it can save you from a lot of headaches down the road.
