I’ll be honest, I haven’t found it hard to get new clients but the quality of client has been harder to get. I’ve had people demand first place rankings or they will go elsewhere , send me demands created by chat gpt for a service level agreement on obtaining a silly amount of backlinks for a few hundred a month and prospective customers talk over me and say they know SEO.

All of which I’ve said sorry but we aren’t compatible to work together and exited professionally before any contract verbal or otherwise is entered into.

So ultimately upon this reflection yes it is becoming harder. I think this is because people watch YouTube or ask ChatGPT for answers and think they know everything. (Like I was lawyer tv shows but doesn’t mean I could defend anyone in court!) and people bounce around from agency to agency giving each one only a month or so to get unrealistic results. The bs literally stops at my front door, so if you try to enter with horse muck you’ll be left outside. I’m running a seo business not a circus with instant gratification for all in the big top tent. 😂
