On the very first day of the new year my neighbour decided to dump the waste from construction work at his home on an empty plot right in our backyard. Not one, not two but sixty loads of debris. I'm feeling utterly defeated at the callousness of it all.

Just talk. Don't worry about making mistakes. Whenever you feel like you made a mistake, just look it up later rather than beating yourself up or feeling bad. These things worked for me that arent reading books or listening to podcasts: watch TONS of English movies. Whatever you can get your hands on even the shitty ones. Learn slang, common phrases and vocabulary very easily by watching movies. Listen to English songs, of you like a song, look up lyrics and meanings.

Another way if you don't mind online hate: make grammar mistakes online and wait for people to correct you ;)
