This is obvious, most of the reasons why Marathi people themselves will come forward and say we employ Northees because of these factors. The problem in not in migrant work ethic, it's in the culture they import, forming caste based cliques, paan masala culture, nepotism, not learning Marathi even though they've brought their whole family here, land encroachments, slums; this list is also long.

This is not to say Marathi people do not cause problems themselves, but the scale is different. Corruption, caste BS and nepotism, general lack of civic sense is a pan-India issue, but there are layers to the problem. Maharashtra, by fortune or whatever, is a relatively developed state and hence the culture here is somewhat more liberal, somewhat less corrupt and somewhat more accepting to outsiders. Marathi people want to keep it that way and we want to preserve our identity while doing so. That's all there's to it.

Meta point is correct - lack of civic sense comes from parents. Kids emulate parents and learn from what they see.
The point is 25-30 years back, parents themselves didn’t know what civic sense is. Most grew up poor and learning civic sense was not in their top 5 priority. But in 2025 that shouldn’t be an excuse. It’s shocking that new parents (last 10 years) are also not aware of civic sense and hence are not teaching their children.

This woman has been popping up constantly in my feed. I initially was worried for her. She would say things like i really miss home, when will i het to go back. I have to do so much work here etc.

After she started making long form i was relieved that she is there for a short time (at least what she claims) and is there on her own accord. Some videos though do come across as condescending towards nigerians and their culture.

I understand her calling out men marrying multiple women but she also called nigerian women gold diggers and in another video asked her mil if they eat human meat.

I do agree that her in laws come across as controlling.

Overall, there is something very fishy about this woman and her channel and videos. Something doesn’t sit right.

Lawsuits don’t mean anything to the fascists. They do whatever they want without repercussions.
