Lol I am goan born and brought up and didn't even know we had a caste until we studied caste in middle school. Then at home while we were discussing my lessons my dad said we are XYZ and I was like huh. That's not a caste i learned about and anyway i thought only Hindus have castes. That's when I learned that Goans apparently follow a different caste system than is referenced in school books. My parents don't really believe in it thankfully hence I had never come across it before. But later in life once I started paying attention I noticed some families do believe it. But they are few and far between at least in my social circle

If someone has what it takes to study he or she can study in rough environments too all they need are books and a mobile phone which these sc/st people have mostly, i dont see where they need help by giving them such privileges is the government saying that they don't have the iq to be in competition with the general caste people? Yeah the tribal communities should get these facilities due to true backward conditions but these sc/st have the same opportunities as that of us.

Bhai the only issue will be lack of quality education and exposure for your kids. The kind of environment kids are raised in Bihar, they don't get the required exposure to compete with other well developed states. Rest of the things, air, water, food and all will be way more better than Delhi. Healthcare is debatable though.
