LBS HALL FOOD
skill issue ngl -
I keep seeing this Air India Airbus A319 circling around the HAL airport in Bangalore at low altitude (3400 ft) every day after 7 PM. Any ideas why?
It's called base training. They take new first officers in the aircraft and do 6 landings per pilot, usually in batches of 3.
It's a mandatory requirement for someone going from small aircraft (2-6 seaters) to big jets.
It's done at HAL because the airspace for the circuit (the pattern they draw on the map as they fly the takeoffs and landings) is clear of other traffic and HAL allows them to. -

Hello people of Jharkhand, we are building a social media discussion platform exclusive for India and here us out please..
An intellectual discussion is only possible in the absence of political partisanship. Unfortunately, when political media influencers intervene, they often derail constructive dialogue, prioritizing their agendas over meaningful discourse. This inevitably undermines the purpose and potential of such discussions, leading to their eventual failure.
Let us know if you are reconsidering the people whose to be added in the group. thank you. -

Mizoram deserves a lot of appreciation for such rapid improvement in healthcare. It's comparable to Scandinavia in this statistic
PhD researcher in Economics and Finance Commission employee here, while IMR is a good indicator of health and development it's unfortunately a uni-dimensional indicator. I'm not downplaying the improvements the NE states have made but IMR is simply the tip of the iceberg. I recently wrote a paper about subnational HDI and how capital investment in the Social Sector, Education and health affected SHDI in NE. The gist of it is that few states like Manipur, Mizoram and Meghalaya benefitted from health investments and Mizoram and Tripura benefitted from Educational investment and some other minor inferences (it's a bit of a read tbh). But these were during the UPA period and any subsequent increase in development was due to private investments and increase in technology. I took data from 1990 to 2022. Feel free to drop me any questions regarding economic development in NE and I'll answer if it's within my area of expertise. (Though I mostly do my research in Manipur)
Health itself is a huge indicator in itself consisting of indicators such as Life expectancy at birth, life expectancy during certain stages, IMR, MMR, nutritional status and so on. So I would suggest not only looking at it from a unidimensional perspective. -
