Images should be cropped to 2x display size for each screen size. I do mobile, tablet, and desktop. So if it’s 300x400 pixels wide on mobile, I make a 600x800 crop of it, convert to webp, and compress using compressor.io and do this for each breakpoint. PNG’s can be webp too. Always use svgs for icons and shapes. Never pngs. Never save an actual image as a png. And preload your images above the fold in the head tag with the preload tag, same for the fonts needed above the fold. And only the mobile webp images. Dont need to preload the desktop one when mobile is what matters.

If you have a 5MB image that’s 5000px wide, doesn’t matter how much you compress it or what else you do to it, it’s still gonna be a large file size because its 5000px wide. You need to make crops for your screen sized to reduce the file sizes optimally. This is how I achieve perfect page speed scores.

Apache because of better build and component quality. But Hero's service is cheaper and way better.

Abhay and piya - loved the college romance and the mystery. Always here for stories where the hero is anti hero and will burn the world for his women. They served their troupe so well.
