Speaking from my experience. I am black, skinny and pimples all over my face. I am pretty sure you are better looking than this. Being in this city with this face and all is totally feels like an alien but over the years I learned few things. This is what I followed up.

1. Forget about the face for now. Become good in rest of the things.
2. Dress well. Doesn’t mean BRANDED. Wear what fits your body and suits you. I use pinterest for the same.
3. Smell nice. Go to desifragnanceaddicts sub and learn about perfume and choose what fits for you.
4. Get good shoes and watch. One or two but a little expensive looks classy.
5. Be good at what you do. If you are working work hard to get the attention you want.
6. About photos. I look ugly as hell but what I did is. Take your camera and pose for photos. Make facial expressions. Try this in both selfie and rear camera. Take a lot of photos with different smiles and facial expressions. Find what suits for you. By heart that facial expression and pose the same everytime you click pictures with groups.

Now find your profile. Your left or right profile. Once you have this. Get candid photos with that profile only.

Before any event or program try making facial expressions at home and just pose for the same in every picture. Atleast you have a good picture.

But remember a good photo also come with good dress.

7. Skin Care: I know this sounds stupid biut this helps. Your photos will be good when you have a good skin.

8. Personality: Be a gentleman. Thats it. Jyada chep bhi nai hona h lekin jyada chuti yo ko tarah shant bhi nai rehna h.
