Dude, if you want a substantial upgrade in performance and can afford it, go for a luxury/multi-cylinder bike. The Himalayan is lovely, yes, but part of its attractiveness is also because of its price point, and you will be settling on some fronts (engine refinement, quality control, etc).

If you're getting a bike only for joyrides and touring, something bigger would definitely be more fulfilling.

I have ford ecosport diesel, no issues, love everything about it. Only issue is they left the country .
