If we stayed independent then our passport might have been similar to strength as that of Bhutan’s. And visa process would remain mostly same as what it is right now. And in terms of racism, from my experience in living abroad it rather depends on the location and how you present yourself and how you look😅 rather than your passport. Sikkim does not have the infrastructure or terrain international airport too. So even that would remain mostly the same.
