We were in the cocoon of a protectionist market before 1990s, and I don't need to tell you what kind of vehicles we had before that. Open markets (i.e. zero tariffs) help encourages competition, encouraging more innovation. Otherwise our markets will be flooded with rebadged vehicles, innovated once, recycled a million times over.

because people don’t stop when the light turns red rather they speed up and cut the red light to make it before the next traffic light turns green and this slows down the next set of vehicles waiting to move out because the road is blocked with people from previous signal. it’s a never ending cycle unless we have traffic police stopping vehicles from cutting the light
