I really liked the movie as well. The intro animation was really good, and the way it has been handled felt really intelligent. I had this belief that borders usually change every 100 years; not a belief, but if we take a note from history at any point in time, then borders are never permanent, and they change every 150 years. Which has been put really well. Someone who has written the script has thought through. 

I have already written before that the songs, acting, cinematography, and composition were really good. and the way they have shown the riot scene was really spine chilling. The acting of side casts, as you mentioned, is really a bit bland, but that's okay. They covered minimum screen time. 

What I feel was the miss here was proper marketing. They didn't even release the song Kerkera and Parab, which could have fueled the fire a bit towards the movie. The Kerkera song, which starts in the movie, showed how banners and hoardings in the Parlakhemundi area were in Telugu as well. People would have really felt that and gone for the movie if it had been released a bit earlier. Still now, they have not released the romantic song yet. I am not sure what they are holding onto till now. 

All in all, the way it is getting less and less screen time, it will be out from the theaters by next week.
